About Me
I am an observational astronomer with expertise in submillimeter and radio astronomy. I have experience in the calibration and analysis of interferometric and single-dish datasets both from my research, focused on high-mass star formation, and my support work for the Atacama Pathfinder EXperiment (APEX) telescope and the European VLBI Network (EVN). From November 2020, I will work as a support scientist at the ALMA ARC node ALLEGRO at the University of Leiden, the Netherlands.
I am interested in science communication and graphic design. At the Joint Institute for VLBI-ERIC (JIVE), I was the person responsible for the JIVE social media channels in 2018/2019 as well as the designer/editor of three editions of the EVN/JIVE newsletter. I also produced several artist impressions. I am now educating myself in graphic design.
